I have so many favorite MJ songs, it's so hard to choose just one. I grew up listening to "Thriller" as a child of the 80s and to this day remains with me as not having Halloween without that song. Practically all the songs on that album are favorites to me

I also love "Rock With You", "The Way You Make Me Feel", "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough", "Man In The Mirror", "Remember The Time" and "Black Or White" (the latter of which my favorite American Idol contestant this past season, Adam Lambert, did an amazing cover). Michael may have left this world, but his music and his legacy will live on forever

I was watching a video of Riverdance's first performance at the 1994 Eurovision contest one day, so I was wondering if there were other ESC clips out there. I stumbled upon some clips from the 1987 contest, and one song caught me in particular - the winning song. There was just something about the performance that I loved.

Okay, so I did get curious about American Idol and who should win the whole thing. But now I'm convinced that if Adam Lambert wins the title, then my faith in the show will be restored. I mean, take his performance of "Mad World" this past Tuesday - it was absolutely mind-blowing! Here's the video:



If this performance doesn't convince you that Adam is by far the most talented and unique competitor this season I don't know what will!

I would love to be a contestant on Survivor, if Canadians ever get a chance to play. Having seen every episode from the very beginning I think I know what it would take a combination of smarts, willpower and confidence to make it far in the game. When it comes to challenges, I think I'd do better in mental challenges than physical challenges, I love puzzles. Endurance challenges such as standing on a pole for a long time would also be something I'd be good at, I have good balance

I've already made two AMVs (anime music videos), but I came across this one that struck me as very touching and beautiful - the creator matched the right moments to the song. The scenes come from the Sailor Moon R movie and the song is "Forever Young" from Care Bears Movie 2. I hope it touches you as much as it did me

I started this journal a long time ago when I was part of a Sailor Moon otaku doll exchange. My character was called Sailor North Star (Polaris is another name for it), so I just expanded on that and called myself "princesspolaris" in honor of my otaku character

He's an awesome singer as well as an actor, and I wanted to show you the video for his new single "What About Us". It's a great song and I hope you like it as much as I did

A few days ago, I was in a chatroom with some online friends of mine, and they were discussing "America's Got Talent". I went on YouTube and found clips of last season's winner, Terry Fator, and watched them. He is so amazing at what he does and he's wonderful human being as well - I enjoyed watching his performances. Perhaps one day he will come to Toronto, I would love that to happen

If you didn't figure it out by now, Canada has found its Maria for the new Toronto production of The Sound of Music...and it's Elicia! I am so happy for her, I became a fan when she sang "Cabaret" for the first time - she brought down the house with that number.
I didn't see the show last night, but I did see a video of Elicia's performance of "Memory" which was so good, it left me speechless. She's going to be a fantastic Maria and I wish her all the best in her new role
